The Robo Swarm

For our final design project in mechatronics we were tasked with creating a group of robots that would follow a lead robot. This was inspired by Lockheed Martin's new autonomous convoy project. We decided to alert the "follow" robots of the "lead" robot's location by using an IR beacon on the lead robot and IR sensors on the follow robots. We 3D printed blinds for the IR sensors to gain a more accurate sense of where the lead robot is.
