The first day of class our professor walked in and said the above statement. We began with a weekend long workshop to create pavilion design options using the grasshopper add-on of rhinoceros 5. Next we built prototypes and moved into the full scale production. The primary build material was polypropylene cut on a CNC router and connected with over 14,000 zip-ties. The project was successfully completed in the 6 week period and was a highlight at the UVA bicentennial kick off event.
